I have recently ordered a Surface Pro 3 to use with my job. I went with the i5, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD version. There are a handful of others. I didn't feel that I needed the i7 for a mobile device. I will post a review of it once I have it and I am set up.
I am particularly excited about the stylus. It is an active stylus and the screen will ignore your hand while using it, meaning no more hover hand drawing.
